PROPERTIES
Bioallethrin (d-trans allethrin)'s chemical and physical properties is similar to d-allethrin (pynamin forte) and efficacy 1.1 to 1.2 times than that of d-allethrin. It is a potent contact insecticide which produces a rapid knockdown against household pests (housefly, mosquito, lice, roach) and parasites outside dog and cat, or formulated into spray agent against crawlers and fly insects on farm, milk houses and stall. It has appropriate vapor pressure, ideal for mosquito coil, electric thermal mat and aerosol.
APPLICATIONS
Mosquito coil: The recommended dosage is between 0.1% and 0.5%.
Electric-thermal mat: About 50 mg/mat with central temperature of heater at 150-165℃.
Aerosol: 0.1-0.7% active ingredients content in mixture with emulsifier synergist and lethal agent.
TOXICOLOGY
Acute toxicity:
Swallowed: LD50 (rat) = 709 - 1042 mg/kg.
Skin: LD50 (rabbit) > 3000 mg/kg.
Inhalation: LC50 rat (4 hour) = 2.51 mg/L of air.
Irritancy:
Eye irritancy: Non irritating.
Skin irritancy: Non irritating.
Sensitisation: Non sensitising.
Long term toxicity: Non teratogenic, non mutagenic, non carcinogenic.
